Director: Arvo Iho

Arvo Iho is an Estonian film cinematographer, director, actor, and photographer, who is renowned for his work in documentary, feature, and short films. Born in Rakvere, Iho worked as a photographer and assistant for Tallinnfilm before studying cinematography at the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography. In 1979, Iho was a crewmember on Andrei Tarkovsky’s film “Stalker”. He went on to work as a cameraman for Tallinnfilm in the 1980s. He is known for “Smile at Last” (1985), “Sister of Mercy” (1990), “The Heart of the Bear” (2001) etc. As a photographer, Iho has exhibited nationally and internationally. His work has been recognized with various awards from home country to abroad.
