Director: Peeter Tooming

(01.06.1939 – 17.05.1997)

Peeter Tooming was a director and cameraman of documentaries at Tallinnfilm (1961–1994), and the author of nearly a hundred films, as well as a photographer, founder of the photo group Stodom (1964) and one of the most significant organizers and influences in the Estonian photography circles. His films are characterized by entwined documentary and staged elements, as well as poetic imagery rich in symbols, which creates an independent film space.
