A semi-autobiographical story by Oskar Luts about friendship, love and life in a small Estonian country boarding school in the late 1800s. The schoolchildren of Paunvere church parish school – Arno, Teele, Toots, Kiir, Tõnisson and Imelik – experience feelings that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. A tale full of colourful events, vivid characters, elaborate jokes and subtle emotions, „The Spring“ is the biggest classic in Estonian cinema.
